Namaskar (Hello). I am Suvojyoti Ray (Suvo), a designer and an artist based in Vancouver and currently working with Microsoft as a visual designer. For the past 8+ years I have been focusing my work on visual design, accessibility and design systems.
In my free time I enjoy doing work on typography, watching biographies, TV series, designing podcasts, and eating (biryani has a special place) :P
As cliche as it may sound, the truth is, I started my design journey from a very young age. Being from an architectural marvel city of India, Kolkata, I was introduced to traditional Indian painting by my mother. I grew fond of the aesthetics side of design.
I started sketching when I was 5. Just some scribbles then but today design is a big part of my life. It’s a profession that is universe in itself.
